WHEELING, W.Va - - Wayne State (3-1) wrapped up play at the Wheeling Jesuit volleyball tournament Sunday, Sept. 1 by getting back on the winning page. The Warriors scored victories against the University of Indianapolis 3-1 (19-30, 31-29, 30-18, 31-29) and swept Bellarmine College 3-0 (30-22, 30-27, 34-32).

After dropping game one to the Greyhounds, senior Jaime Banners dominated the second game, compiling eight of her match-high 17 kills.

Megan Smolen scored five services aces in the match, to bring her weekend total to a team-high 10.

It was a complete team effort as three Warriors had 12 or more kills and six players had double figures in digs. Rebecca Hague had her highest assist total of the weekend with 48 in the match.
