FINDLAY, Ohio-- - The WSU volleyball squad dropped its second-straight GLIAC match Friday night (Sept. 27) with a 3-0 loss (20-30, 17-30, 19-30) at Findlay's Houdeshell Court. For the South Division leading Oilers (15-3, 4-0), it was their 10th-straight victory whle the loss drops the Warriors record to 10-4 and an even 2-2 in conference play.

The leading hitters for WSU were freshmen Jeana Wiehl and Megan Smolen with five kills apiece.

Wayne State had been averaging 12.4 kills per game, against the 21st ranked team, the Warriors had just 28 total kills.

Senior co-captain Allison Jurasek chipped in with four kills and a match-high 12 digs.

Findlay's Kara Heitmeyer recorded 16 kills with just one error.

WSU tries to break its skid Saturday, Sept. 28 when it travels to Ashland for an 11 a.m. match.
