Three members of the 2003 Wayne State University women's volleyball team were named to the GLIAC All-Academic team. The Warriors were 9-16 overall with a league record of 5-12.

To be eligible for GLIAC All-Academic status a student athlete must have: a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or greater (on a 4.0 scale); must be a starter or key reserve; and must not be a freshman or first-year transfer.

Selected to the GLIAC All-Academic team were seniors BreAnne Detrick (Temperance, Mich./Bedford/Owens C.C.) and Rebecca Hague (Leamington, Ont.) and sophomore Kelita Sinclair (Caldeon, Ont./Turner Fenton).

Hague was honored for the third time, while Detrick (pictured at left) and Sinclair were eligible for the first time.
