DETROIT - Wayne State University Director of Athletics Rob Fournier announced today that head women's volleyball coach Limin Jin resigned citing personal reasons.

Jin compiled a 9-16 record this past year as the Warriors tied-for-fourth in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference South Division with a 5-12 ledger.

In 2002, WSU had a 10-17 overall record and finished sixth in the GLIAC South Division with a 2-15 mark.

Jin joined the Wayne State staff in 2002 after serving as the head coach at California University (PA) the previous four seasons. Prior to that he had been a graduate assistant at the University of Kansas in 1991. After a two-year stint with the Jayhawks, he served as an assistant coach at William and Mary and as head coach at Maryland-Eastern Shore in 1997.

A national search for a replacement will begin immediately.
