INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The WSU volleyball team has three top-10 listings in the latest NCAA Division II statistical report, through September 25 action.
Senior Elisa Joris (Walled Lake, Mich./WL Western) leads the country in blocks per game at 1.92. The two-time GLIAC South Player of the Week has also helped the Warriors to a sixth-place team ranking of 3.15 blocks per game.
Junior libero Michelle Bittner (Hamtramck, Mich./Regina), who leads the GLIAC in digs, is seventh in the nation at 6.02 per game.
WSU is throwing a "Block Party" as it hosts Saginaw Valley on Friday night at 7 p.m.
