The Warrior volleyball team has two players ranked toward the top in the latest NCAA report.

Junior libero Sei Hee Hwang (Toronto, Ont./Cedarbrae) moved up from fourth to second place in Division II with 6.64 digs per game. Remaining at second in blocks is redshirt junior Elisa Joris (Walled Lake, Mich./Western) who is averaging 1.86 per game through Oct. 3. Both players lead the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in their respective category.

As a team, Wayne State ranks ninth in blocks per game (3.11) and 23rd in digs per game (19.6)

The Warriors, who are 8-7 overall and 3-4 in the GLIAC, have three home matches this weekend against Northern Michigan (Friday, 7 pm), Lake Superior (Saturday, 1 pm) and Michigan Tech (Sunday, 1 pm).
