BAY CITY, Mich. - For the third time this season, Wayne State University junior outside hitter Sarha Gosselin (Harrison Twp., Mich./Warren Lincoln) has been named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division Player of the Week, as announced by the league office.

Gosselin finished with a team-high 30 kills along with 16 digs, six blocks, and four aces in shutouts over Tiffin and Ashland last weekend. She had 12 kills and eight digs against the Dragons and posted a .485 hitting percentage with 18 kills versus AU, as WSU clinched its first GLIAC Tournament berth since 2005.

Gosselin leads the conference with a 3.60 kills/set average and a 4.09 points/set average.

Wayne State, which can finish no lower than third place in the South Division, will close out the regular season at Findlay on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Hillsdale on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. The GLIAC Tournament quarterfinal will be Wednesday, Nov. 12, with the opponent and site to be determined.
