BAY CITY, Mich. - WSU senior Allison Jurasek (Clinton, Mich.) was named to the All-GLIAC Honorable Mention team, released by the conference office Thursday, Nov. 14. Jurasek is the first Warrior to gain all-conference honors since Erin Meyer made the first team in 1999.

In her only year at WSU, the 6-0 middle blocker played in all 99 games. She was second on the squad in attack percentage (.260), digs (244) and blocks (87).

Jurasek's career-high of 19 kills came at LSSU on Oct. 13 and she was also named to the Findlay Classic All-Tournament Team.

Northwood University senior setter Amy Gruszynski repeated as the 2002 "Player of the Year" in voting conducted by the league's coaches. Mercyhurst College's Kari Clapham was tabbed "Freshman of the Year," while Ferris State University's Tia Brandel-Wilhelm earned "Coach of the Year" honors.
