LEXINGTON, Ky. - Wayne State University junior outside hitter Sarha Gosselin (Harrison Twp., Mich./Warren Lincoln), junior middle blocker Lauren Mallast (Chesterfield, Mich./Anchor Bay) and senior libero Mayssa Bazzi (Dearborn, Mich.) all received All-Midwest Region accolades from the American Volleyball Coaches Association, the organization announced Wednesday morning.
Gosselin and Mallast were named to the All-Region team, while Bazzi garnered Honorable Mention recognition.
These awards come just one day after all three received Daktronics, Inc. All-Midwest Region honors in a vote by the region's sports information directors.
