Three members of the 2008 Wayne State University volleyball team were named to the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) All-Academic team.

To be eligible for all-academic status, the student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0, on a 4.0 scale, and must not be a freshman or first year transfer.

Selected to the GLIAC All-Academic team were junior Meg Leone (Troy, Mich) and sophomores Katrina Bezak (Milford, Mich.) and Maureen MacDonald (White Lake, Mich./Marian).

Bezak and MacDonald were eligible for the award for the first time this season, while Leone is a two-time recipient.
