Wayne State Finishes Third at Mel Brodt Invitational

Bowling Green, Ohio - Rachelle Malette (Windsor, Ontario/Holy Names) finished in second place in the Division II bracket as Wayne State finished in third place out of five Division II teams at the Bowling Green Mel Brodt Invitational.

Division I Ohio University won the invitational with 27 points. Bowling Green's Jamie Roflow won the race with a time of 17:53, making a clean sweep of Falcon individual winners. Eddie Kipchoge of BGSU won the men's division.

Malette's second place win was her third-straight top-five finish in as many races in 2006.
