Warrior Runners Finish Second of 30 Teams at Lehigh's Paul Short Invitational

Bethlehem, Pa. - Sophomore Rachelle Malette (Windsor, Ontario/Holy Names) finished in first place overall as the women's cross country team finished in second place out of 30 teams at Lehigh's Paul Short Invitational.

The Warriors have been on a roll lately as they have now finished the past three races in third place or higher after starting the season in last place.

For Malette, it was her second-career first place finish and her third-straight finish of second or higher. She has led her team in all four races to start the season.

Senior Jenni Culbertson (Clinton Twp., Mich./Dakota) saw her first action of the season and finished in 84th place.
