Big Rapids, Mich. - Sophomore Rachelle Malette (Windsor, Ontario/Holy Names) finished in first place for the third time this season, and the third time in the past four races, and senior Leah Steinke (Windsor, Ontario/Kennedy C.I.) came in second as the women's cross country team finished in third place out of nine teams at the Michigan Intercollegiate, hosted by Ferris State.

For Steinke, the second place finish was a new personal best, as it beat her old placement of third, coming at the Paul Short Invitational last weekend.
