Boston, Mass. - Wayne State cross country head coach Rick Cummins and assistant coach Matt Fecht competed at the 111th Boston Marathon on Monday. Over 23,800 racers competed in rainy conditions in the historic 40k race.

Cummins finished in a time of 3:25:20, good enough for 4,382 place overall, 3,846 with all male runners and 2,223 in his division: Open 18-39.

Matt Fecht

Fecht came in a respectable 142 place overall with a time of 2:41:30. He finished at 129 place with all male runners and 113 in his division: Open 18-39.

Lance Jones

Jones finished the best of the three, completing the race in 2:39:04, good enough for 117 place, 107 place with all male runners and 95 in his division: Open 18-39.
